Shell-ebration of the Sea Weekend
Friday, November 29 - Sunday, December 1| 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Join the New Bedford Whaling Museum for a shell-ebration this Thanksgiving weekend! Follow Bunji, the green sea turtle, on her extraordinary journey through colorful coral reefs and open ocean encounters in our current Big Blue Picture, Turtle Odyssey 3D. After the movie, families can bring her story to life by crafting their very own 3D sea turtle to take home in our Whales Today exhibition.
Museum Members that visit throughout the weekend will be entered in for a chance to win our newest Jellycat Fluffy Turtle! With a zesty lime shell, leafy flippers, clotted-cream tummy and the biggest stitch smile, this gentle turtle is an ocean gem.
This program is part of general admission to the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Movie tickets for Turtle Odyssey 3D can either be purchased with general admission or separately.
