Break up your week and get through hump day with our exciting Humpback Wednesday program at the New Bedford Whaling Museum! On Wednesday, August 14, we're bringing out Salt, our impressive 40-foot inflatable Humpback whale for all visitors to enjoy. Usually reserved for school groups, all guests will be able to step inside this life-sized whale and explore its internal organs, experiencing firsthand the marvels of marine biology.

But that's not all! Join us for showings of our breathtaking 3D movie, Ocean Odyssey, where you'll follow a three-month-old humpback baby whale on an extraordinary journey along the Earth's great ocean highways. Witness the wonders of ocean currents and the diverse marine life they sustain, from the tiniest fish to magnificent whales, and understand how the ocean supports all life on our planet.
