Wonders of the Blue Whale Weekend
November 24th - November 26th
Ready to eat again? A Blue Whale would be – they can eat up to 4 tons of food a day! That amount of krill could fill an entire dump truck.
Learn even more amazing facts about these incredible animals at the New Bedford Whaling Museum during Thanksgiving weekend. Families can gather together and watch the extended 40-minute version of our new film – Blue Whales: Return of the Giants – and then climb into our blue whale replica heart or go on their own whale hunt throughout the galleries.
Museum Members that visit throughout the weekend will be entered in for a chance to win our Blue Whale gift set, which includes a Blue Whale: Return of the Giants movie poster, a reusable water bottle, and a huggable blue whale stuffed animal.
