Tour the Whaling Museum through the lens of women's history. Visit a variety of exhibits with a docent who will highlight the often-overlooked stories of the women who contributed to New Bedford's history. See the Museum in a whole new way!

The tour features more than a dozen women profiled on the New Bedford Whaling Museum’s project Lighting the Way: Historic Women of SouthCoast HistoricWomenSouthCoast.org. Launched in 2018, Lighting the Way unearths hidden histories of remarkable women from the SouthCoast of Massachusetts who have made an extraordinary impact on their community and beyond. 

This tour is free with admission to the Museum.
