Community Open House

Monday, October 28, 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM

On the 50th anniversary of Cape Verdean independence from Portugal, the New Bedford Whaling Museum presents the Cape Verdean Contemporary Project, two exhibitions opening in summer 2025 that explore the Cape Verdean American and Cape Verdean experience through the lens of contemporary art and community storytelling.

You are invited to a community open house at the New Bedford Whaling Museum to learn more! The Cook Memorial Theater doors open at 4:00 PM, program begins at 4:30 PM.
